We recently said our final goodbye to A.H. "Buddy" Giesecke, Jr. M.D., following his death on December 24, 2011, which marked the conclusion of an astonishing 52-year tenure of distinguished service and leadership, both at UT Southwestern Medical Center and in the field of anesthesiology.  Dr. Giesecke was a friend to the entire UT Southwestern community - our faculty and staff, alumni and students, and especially the thousands of patients he cared for throughout a half-century of service.

Please join us in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Giesecke by contributing to the A.H. "Buddy" Giesecke, Jr., M.D. Fund in Anesthesiology.  Our goal is to establish a chair in Dr. Giesecke's name.
